Surgery

Some people want the easy way, so dismiss weight loss programs, and look at surgery to lose weight. For example a tummy tuck, or liposuction, must be seen for what it is, and that is a "Temporary Solution". It’s so easy to think that surgery is the answer to losing weight, you know, just cut the bits off, excess fat gone forever, but the reality is certainly different. Any weight lost by surgery will only ever be temporary, as you also need to change your eating habits, your lifestyle, to lose weight long term. Eat the same as you did before the surgery, and you will simply put weight back on, and have the stretched body scars as a reminder of where they cut or entered your body. You have to control your calories, for example, eating calories at the rate your body uses them, you will maintain your bodyweight, eating fewer calories than your body uses, you will lose body weight, and eating more calories than your body uses, you will put weight on, this really isn’t rocket science. There is one further point that I want to make, if you continue the diet you ate before surgery, there’s a good chance you will require further surgery at some point, so you need to ask yourself this, how many times are you willing to go under the knife, suffer the risk, and pay the costs, instead of changing your diet, the risks and rewards are very tilted towards changing your diet, but you do have to see this for yourself. Weight loss programs are more in your control, so offer less risk to your well being.
