The slower your weight loss is (within reason), the more likely you are of
keeping your weight loss off. Why, because you are living your new eating habits longer term, and they are
more likely to become your future eating habits. For this reason, fast weight loss diets do not help you
keep the weight off long-term, as once the fast weight loss diet ends, you go back to eating your regular
diet, which is the cause of your increased body weight in the first place i.e. you are eating more calories
that your body is using. Remember, your excess weight was not gained overnight, so you will not lose it
overnight, not
naturally anyway.

know what they are meant to be doing. The difference between the successes and the failures is usually
quite basic, the successes have simply put what they learned to good use, and followed the plan. The

have . Just reading about losing weight, will not create weight loss in itself, but reading and taking
action will. It's reasonable to say that most people who are overweight, know why they are overweight, they

them again, but, and there's always a but, they are an occasional treat. A word of warning, once you have found
a diet that suits you, I am not talking about the fast, quick or any other fad diets, I am talking about a real
healthy diet, one that is designed to feed you properly, eating the right foods, a diet which creates a new way
of eating for you, long term. Don't go back to your old way of eating, as you will end up putting the weight
back on that you've just lost. You just
need to find the way to lose
weight that suits
you .

On your way to lose
weight, you will suffer a daily emotional roller coaster
ride. It's fair to say that most people who had tried dieting have achieved some level of success at
one time or another. Depending on what type of person you are, and your daily activities, your daily highs and
lows, etc., these are sure to cause you to reconsider your diet at some point :o) - I know as I've been there
myself. Hitting a low can often put you on course for a chocolate bar, or something really sweet and sticky, you
yearn for the 'high' of a sugar intake. Now, doing this on the odd occasion will not put you bang on your weight
loss target, but it also won't derail you either, we are human. Of course, if this is a daily occurrence, it may
be wise to find a way of either avoiding what is causing these issues, or to find something healthier that
satisfies your need, like some fruit, which is a natural source of sugar, and make sure what you choose is in
your allowed foods list. Losing weight is a very simple thing to do, 'not easy', I said simple. If it was easy,
there wouldn't be so many overweight people, and people failing to loss their excess weight.
There is a number 1 skill to learn in your want to find a

weight, one you surely need to focus on, and this is your daily emotional roller coaster survival
tactics. These issues need to be dealt with before they happen, otherwise you may grab for the first thing you
find, and it will surely be the wrong thing.
Your weight loss will vary, this is usual, one week you will lose a lot, the next,
none at all, you may even put a little weight back on, also, your weight loss will slow down as you get closer to
your ideal weight. Just understand that food is your body's fuel, and you will go a long way towards losing your
excess weight.
