So, you've finally decided, enough is enough, and you're now
going to do it, all you need is to find ways to lose weight!
Sick and tired of being overweight, looking pregnant or
having a beer belly, out of breath, catching colds and flu at the drop of a hat.
This is it, you are now going to lose that weight, get fit,
get healthy...
Now all you need is to know about the Ways To Lose
Weight...
Well, let me give you the bad news first, the fact is:
Millions have tried before you, and most have failed the
challenge of reaching their goal weight, or staying there.
In an effort to help all my dieting friends here, I have put together a small beginner's
guide, showing the Ways To Lose Weight, this is to offer help, and to make sure you have the best
chance at being one of the few that actually win the game.
Ways To Lose Weight
- Know where you are now, and be honest
with yourself.
Most people start a diet without knowing their starting point, or where they want
to end up, so the journey is unknown. This is totally the wrong way to start off your new diet, to
find ways to lose weight you're so desperate to lose. Not only will you not know how you are actually doing, so
you will have no encouragement to keep going, along the way you will get many instances to tempt you to miss a
day / week or completely stop altogether. Without charting your progress, you won't know where you are, imagine
driving to a new destination, without a map, without knowing which direction to go in? Not seeing the progress,
good or bad, puts you in the position of easily quitting when the going gets
tough.
- Set real goals, weight loss goals that you can achieve,
and write them down.
Most people will start a diet by flippantly quoting an amount they want to lose,
it is some random weight that come into their head, and they "hope" to lose it fast...
You know the comments:
"I 'hope' to lose 30 lbs..."
"I am 'trying' to get back to my old weight..."
"If I can 'just' go back one clothe size, I'll be happy..."
" I need to
find Ways To Lose Weight"
And as you can guess, this is the wrong way to go about losing weight!
All of the above are passive, if onlys.
'I can and I will', is what will get you there.
- Only set goals that you will stick
to. To succeed, you need detailed weight loss goals, goals that
are written down, and the more detail you enter, the better. What I mean by more detail is: make a weight loss
calendar, set dates that you weigh yourself and include your target weight. The more detail you enter, the more
you will have etched into your mind to actually make this real, make it happen.
- Use a step by step
approach. You are best to find a step by step weight loss plan,
which offers an easy to understand, easy to follow way, what you can eat, or can't eat, and to follow the
exercising they advise (you should see your medical practitioner before carrying out any exercising, especially
if you are a lot over weight). Creating weight loss goals, weight loss roadmaps, gives you a clear direction to
go, as well as set timeframes to work within.
